Blanck
is an American painter living and working in New York City. He was
born in New Haven, Connecticut in 1976 and is a graduate of the Rhode
Island School of Design where he received a BFA in Painting in 1998.
At twenty-five years old he has already completed a visiting artist's
program at the American Academy of Rome where he was one of the youngest
painters ever accepted. The strong response his work has garnered
allowed Blanck the opportunity to show at the noted Galleria In Arco,
Turin, Italy as well as the 20/20 exhibition in Toronto, Canada in
2001. Blanck's work stands out among a school of young New York based
painters attracting the attention of collectors, galleries and museums
worldwide. In New York, Blanck's work was included in the American
Academy of Arts and Letter Invitational, the Nostalgia show and the
Addition/Subtraction exhibition. His work embodies the strength of
an sophisticated artist but also maintains his generational eye, media
